Northern Tanzania 14 Day safari a unique safari that marks your lifetime experience and it will start at Mkomazi, Arusha, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro Crater all the way to other very attractive destinations in Tanzania.
Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arrive Arusha
on arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport; you are transferred to mountain Serena hotel in Arusha, the ideal starting point for safaris into Tanzania’s northern wildlife parks.
Day 2: Depart from Arusha town to Mkomazi
After breakfast, Morning depart from Arusha town to Mkomazi national park with packed lunch. Arrive late afternoon, dinner and overnight at lodge or Hotel
Day 3: Full day game viewing in Mkomazi
Full day game viewing in Mkomazi National Park with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight at lodge or Hotel
Day 4: Drive from Mkomazi to Arusha Town
After breakfast, Morning depart from Mkomazi National Park to Arusha with packed lunch. Arrive late afternoon, after that we will drive to visit life band school then we will drive back to mountain village hotel for dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Game Drive to Arusha
After breakfast we will drive from your lodge to Arusha National Park for fully day game driving, you will see many attraction like Black and White Colobus Monkey, Arusha is a breathtaking park that includes the alkaline Momella Lakes, the Ngurdoto Crater and spectacular waterfalls. It has as its dramatic backdrop the 4566 meters high Mt. Meru. Later evening drive to Taragire national park for dinner and overnight at Tented lodge.
Day6: Full day in Tarangire
The day start with breakfast then enjoy morning game driving at the Tarangire National Park then lunch will be served at the lodge, PM game drives and later in the evening return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at lodge.
Day 7: Full Day Game Drive to Lake Manyara
After breakfast we will drive to Lake Manyara with a picnic lunch en route. We enter the majestic Lake Manyara Game Park and embark on the first of the six Tanzanian safaris. This small park is sandwiched between the Rift Valley escarpment and the large odiferous Lake Manyara. It is a pretty location, with a good range of game, including giraffe, elephant, baboon and the rarely seen tree-climbing lion.
Day 8: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
we depart for the famous Olduvai Gorge where the African thorpus skull was found. Olduvai Gorge is an archaeological site located in the eastern Serengeti Plains. The gorge is a very steep sided ravine roughly 30 miles long and 295 ft. deep. Exposed deposits show rich fossil fauna, many hominid remains and items belonging to the one of the oldest stone tool technologies, called Olduwan. The time span of the objects recovered date from 2,100,000 to 15,000 years ago. Optional visit to a Masai Village and then proceed to Serengeti National Park in time to be able to enjoy our 2nd game view while the drive will be communicating with other driver to find where migration of wildebeest and zebra located.
Day 9: Wildebeest Migration at Serengeti Plain
After breakfast head out to the bush for searching migrations viewing at Serengeti Plain our guide will drive you for the migration location to enjoy the wildebeest and zebra migration, you will have you box lunch in the plain of Serengeti and after that you will be able to proceed with afternoon game then later in the evening return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at your Lodge.
Day 10: Safari to Serengeti Central area
Morning after breakfast leave to your lodge with picnics and drive to Serengeti Central area, game viewing enroute, then full day game activities at Serengeti will enable you to have enough time to explore wildebeest migration where they will be, your picnic will be served while on game drives, then onward to overnight stay at the selected accommodation in Serengeti.
Day 11: Full Day Wildebeest Migration in Serengeti
Another day to enjoy a full day exploration of wildebeest at the Serengeti, Morning after breakfast enjoy another full day game activities at kirawira circuits or any place your driver will discover there’s the great population of wildebeest migration. Your lunch will be served while on game drives, and then after good dinner you will get preparation for night game driving and this will be out of the park we will spend two hours for night game driving then back to your tented camp for overnight at bush camp.
Day 12: Safari to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast leave the camp early morning drive to Ngorongoro conservation area , Venture down to the crater floor, and take this fantastic safari experience in this extraordinary ecosystem, viewing high concentrations of zebra, gazelle, impala, wildebeest, and many other animals who are all bound by the crater walls. Then picnic will be served inside the crater, after lunch you will proceed with afternoon game view after that ascend to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro area.
Day 13: Ngorongoro walking Safaris
After breakfast you will meet with your guide and proceed with full day for walking tour in the Ngorongoro Embakai Crater, while the highlight of the experience, is the centerpiece of the much vaster expanse of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the rolling highlands of which create a fantastic area to explore on guided walks and drives. This is the domain of the Maasai pastoralists, and a stunning area of natural beauty to explore. Then picnic will be served inside of the embakai crater after lunch you will be walking up to the car then drive back to the lodge for.
Day 14: Safari from Ngorongoro to Arusha
After a good start with breakfast we leave Ngorongoro and drive to Arusha, before arrive in Arusha at your lodge you will stop at Gibbs farm for your box lunch and coffee after that you will be able to organize with your drives guide to pass through African hand craft, after that you will proceed to Arusha, at Mountain village lodge for dinner then later transfer to Kilimanjaro international Airport for your international departure back home for those fly on 16th July 2011,and for those will join safari to Gomebe national park they will overnight for their next safari to gombe national park.
